Monitor
The signal monitor is a FFT based acquisition routine which allows
to characterize all signals present in the IF stream. Its output are Doppler
frequency, code phase and signal-to-noise ratio.
Main
parameters of the signal monitor are the coherent integration time and the
number of non-coherent frames. The higher the both values the lower the minimum
detectable signal-to-noise ratio.
The output
of the signal monitor is displayed numerically and by a two dimensional graphics
as shown below (click to enlarge). The yellow dots in the blue rectangle
represent satellite navigation signals (GPS C/A code).
